Basic Operation Guide for Sauna
The Harvia sauna provides an easy and efficient way to enjoy a relaxing sauna experience. Here’s a quick guide on how to get started:
-
Powering On:
Locate the control panel (often found on the wall outside or just inside the sauna). Press the Power button to turn the sauna heater on. -
Setting the Temperature:
Use the temperature control on the panel to set your desired sauna temperature. Recommended settings are between 70-90°C (158-194°F), but you may adjust this based on personal comfort. -
Adjusting the Timer:
Set the timer to your desired session length, typically between 15-30 minutes. The heater will automatically turn off after this period to prevent overheating. -
Adding Humidity (Optional):
To add steam, pour a small amount of water over the sauna stones using the provided ladle. Be cautious, as the steam will be very hot. Avoid pouring excessive water to prevent damaging the heater. -
Powering Off:
After your session, turn off the sauna using the Power button. Let the sauna cool down with the door slightly open to air it out for the next user. -
Safety Precautions:
-
Always monitor the temperature and timer to avoid overheating.
-
Stay hydrated before, during, and after your sauna session.
-
Avoid using oils or other additives in the water, as these can damage the heater and create unsafe conditions.
